Trese: Kabanata/Episode 5

Kabanata 5

Episode 5
PAST: The leaders of the various tribes will meet to decide the fate of the twins. Anton insists on taking them in and giving them the care that they need, even if the leader of the aswang tribe does not totally agree. Alexandra begins her training as the anointed one, the sixth child of the sixth child. Five years will pass, and, in her return, her father is no longer around. PRESENT: Mayor Sancho Santamaria reveals himself as the mastermind of the suicide bombings all over Metro Manila. Using black magic, he forms an army of brainwashed prisoners, and a battle will unfold between Alexandra and their enemies. Nuno is unveiled as the traitor giving Sancho powers. Alexandra will get to claim victory in battle with the assistance of the tikbalang as well as the wind people. As they start to believe that they have finally won, Datu Talagbusao suddenly appears, being in possession of General Villar’s body all along.

Nuno, what the fuck, you ingrate. After extorting Choc Nut from Alexandra this is what you do to repay her? You are pissing me off, you a-hole. Even so, my admiration for the writers grew even more. Who would have actually thought that it is Nuno who would be the one to betray them? This is why we should always be wary about Choc Nut extortionists. Most of the time they are just users. After they get your Choc Nut, you will no longer be of any value to them. And if you think it all ends there, General Villar has a surprise of his own. Even this idiot has his own secret. I wonder if he is related to Manny and Cynthia Villar? Will he be giving out Camella Homes on the final episode? And so here comes the ending. Well, well, writers. You really did give us one hell of a good time. It seems all too clear now that the final episode will involve a huge war. And so we wonder who will be teaming up with whom. Here’s to hoping that we get to see more episodes. You know how Netflix can be sometimes...
