Labing-anim na taong gulang si Gilberto “Galo” Manansala at nakikitira sa kapatid na babae ng kanyang inang pumanaw na. Iniwan na rin ng ama si Galo upang sumama sa ibang babae. Hindi man masaya ang binata sa kasalukuyan niyang kalagayan, hindi naman niya maikaiila na malaki ang tulong nito sa kanya dahil kahit paano ay nakapag-aaral siya sa Maynila kahit na tila ba ginagawa siyang katulong sa bahay ng mga pinsan niya. Matapos ang dami ng pinagkakaabalahan sa paaralan ay magkakaroon si Galo ng panahon na lumuwas sa Tarmanes upang dalawin ang kanyang lola na ayon sa mga natanggap niyang sulat ay palala na ng palala ang lagay ng kalusugan. Ang sasalubong sa kanyang pagdating ay dalawang batang hindi niya mamukhaan at isang bahay na puno ng mga nililok na mga tauhan at sinasambang panginoon mula sa pananampalataya na hindi rin naman niya kilala. Doon din niya makikilala si Mama Susan at ang kanyang mga kaibigan.

Mad alien scientist Dr. Jumba Jookiba (Zach Galifianakis) creates an alien genetic experiment illegally. The United Galactic Federation finds out and puts Jumba to trial, confiscating Experiment 626 and ordering its destruction. Experiment 626 manages to escape and ends up crash landing on planet Earth, winding up at a pet shelter on one of the islands in Hawaii. There he is found by a lonely Hawaiian girl named Lilo (Maia Kealoha) who is desperate for friends. Not only is she an outcast and bullied by other girls at school, she is also an orphan, her legal guardian being her teenage sister Nani (Sydney Elizebeth Agudong) who is forced to make ends meet for both of them due to their parents’ early death. She names her new pet Stitch (Chris Sanders). Jumba manages to convince the council to give him a chance to travel to Earth to retrieve his experiment, in the condition that he will be supervised by self-proclaimed Earth expert Agent Wendell Pleakley (Billy Magnussen).

Good Omens

11 years ago the devil Crowley, roaming the Earth for centuries in the guise of an ordinary human, is tasked to oversee the proper placement of the Antichrist in human society. The plan was simple: switch him with the newborn son of the American cultural attaché to make sure that he grows up privileged and in a position of power. Enlisting the help of a convent of Satanic nuns, Crowley never expected that the sisters would botch such a simple plan. The Antichrist grows up as Adam, the child of a simple British couple residing in Lower Tadfield. Flash forward to the present as Armageddon is set to take place, the forces of good and evil begin to mobilize. A literal hell hound as well as the four horsemen make their way to their master to carry out their plan, but they seem to have the wrong boy. Crowley forms an unlikely alliance with angel Aziraphale as they try to stop the end of the world, growing fond of the human race after centuries of dealing with them.

The Picture of Dorian Gray

Lord Henry Watton pays his friend Basil Hallward a visit. Basil is an artist and his current project is to paint the portrait of Dorian Gray, a rich young lad whose beauty tantalizes both men. Henry persuades Basil to introduce him to his young friend. When the two finally meet, Henry entices Dorian with the allure of hedonism, all while giving him impromptu lectures about life through witty epigrams. Young and impressionable, Dorian feels the pressure of vanity and maintaining his youthful looks, prompting himself to wish that Basil’s portrait of him would take the toll of aging instead of him. Miraculously, the wish comes true and the portrait gets gradually corrupted while Dorian maintains his youth even 18 years after that fact. He explores the limits of his hedonism, seeking pleasure and vanity through different means, one of which is by having theater actress Sybil Vane fall in love with him only to break her heart in the end. As Sybil takes her own life out of heartbreak, her brother John promises revenge.

Yñiga

Stefani Reyes (Kaitlyn Santa Juana) is flunking college due to lack of sleep brought about by recurring nightmares of the 1968 Skyview incident featuring her grandmother. Now an old hermit living in isolation in a fortified house in the middle of nowhere, Iris (Gabrielle Rose) is visited by her estranged granddaughter and gives her a book she wrote herself on how to protect their family from death, right before she is impaled in the head by a wind vane.

When the security personnel implicated in the murders through her witness testimony is released from prison, a one-on-one interview between the two is arranged for ratings’ sake. After a chance encounter with a middle aged woman who gives her a weird bracelet, Vivian starts seeing ghosts of the massacre victims asking for justice, blaming her for their death. Her ex boyfriend and archivist Benjie (Joem Bascon) is also haunted by the ghosts. Are they really being tortured by the supernatural or is this just another case of a conscience racked with guilt?

The four are invited to an intimate dinner at their house but the session does not reveal much clues. When George finds small hints that seem to be implicating his wife, he follows the lead and secretly investigates her. Along the way he discovers that she might not have been that honest with him after all. Could she be the traitor in their midst hiding in plain sight?

The twins purchase a sawmill from a notoriously racist KKK member and turn their idea of converting the place into a juke joint into reality. They enlist the service of people they grew up with to staff the place during opening night which include: Smoke’s estranged wife Annie (Wunmi Mosaku) as cook; singer Pearline (Jayme Lawson); sharecropper Cornbread (Omar Miller) as bouncer; Delta Slim (Delroy Lindo) as pianist; and Sammie himself as one of the musical acts; among others. When Stack’s ex Mary (Hailee Steinfeld) crashes the opening night party and is later bitten by, and turned into, a vampire, the partygoers must survive until sunrise if they want to get out of there alive.

Ayon sa alamat ay tanging ang awit lamang ng maalamat na Ibong Adarna ang makapagpapagaling sa hari kung kaya’t ipadadala niya ang panganay na si Pedro upang hulihin ito at susundan ni Diego. Hindi magtatagumpay ang dalawa sapagkat mahahalina sila sa himig ng Ibong Adarna at mapapasailalim sa sumpa nito kung saan ang lahat ng maiiputan ng ibon ay magiging bato. Labag man sa damdamin ay pahihintulutan ng hari ang bunso upang isakatuparan ang balak. Magtagumpay kaya ang tinatanging anak?

Florante at Laura

Nagmumuni-muni ang anak ni Briseo at Floresca na si Florante sa gitna ng gubat matapos itong ipatapon ng kanyang masigasig na kaaway na si Adolfo na sadyang matindi ang inggit at galit sa kanya. Hindi lamang siya ipinatapon nito, inagaw din nito ang kaharian ng ama ni Florante at pati na rin ang kanyang sinisinta na si Laura. Sa gubat ay matatagpuan siya ni Aladin na tagapagmana naman ng kaharian ng Persya at naipit din sa katulad na bagsik ng tadhana. Ang ama ni Aladin na si Ali-Adab ang kanyang kalaban hindi lamang sa kaharian kundi na rin sa puso ng kanyang iniibig na si Flerida. Ang pagtatagpo ng dapat sana ay magkaaway na sina Florante at Aladin ay magiging daan upang magtulungan ang dalawa na makabalik sa kani-kanilang kaharian at gapiin ang kani-kanilang mga sariling kalaban, isang pag-aaklas upang mapalaya ang kanya-kanyang bayan at mabawi ang pag-ibig ng kanilang mga iniirog.
