별에서 온 그대: 제21회
As Song-Yi wishes upon a star, Min-Joon says his parting words, vanishing into thin air before she could even say goodbye. This will cause her severe depression in the years to come despite everyone’s attempt to console her. Once in a while she will see him, a similar occurrence which lawyer Jang and Hwi-Kyeong’s brother will also report, but will summarily be dismissed as stress-induced hallucinations. Three years later, Song-Yi will have regained the spot she vacated in the biz by virtue of Hwi-Kyeong’s backing. On the night of the Korean Film Awards, she will work the red carpet and pose for the paparazzi, when all of a sudden everything in motion will stop except for her, and Min-Joon, who will walk up the flight of stairs and plant a kiss right on her lips, before he disappears again, much to everyone’s bewilderment. His apparitions will turn out to be real after all. Discovering a wormhole and banking on his ability to stop time, he will be able to come back for a longer period each time, their love story continuing as such with him suddenly disappearing and her patiently waiting when he would be back again, spending every time they have together as if it is going to be their last.

별에서 온 그대: 제18회
Distressed, Song-Yi calls out Min-Joon’s name out loud in fear that he has gone away for good, but he assures her that he is not going anywhere and that he has decided to stay on the planet, with her. Yet her tight embrace comes with a premonition of him lying motionless on the floor, watching his own body disappear into nothingness. He also discovers how his powers start to wane whenever he is with her, having spent the night together in each other’s arms. Talks of marriage between him and her are brought up, with the former getting the approval of both her brother and father. Hwi-Kyeong’s brother flatly denies every allegation thrown at him, bringing up his ex-wife’s mental condition as a shield. To make matters worse, their father seems to turn a blind eye on everything he does, taking the family’s reputation into consideration first, and ending up disowning Hwi-Kyeong for what he has done. You Who Came from the Stars: Episode 17

별에서 온 그대: 제17회
Hwi-Kyeong delves deeper into his older brother’s affairs and goes as far as to conclude that he was also responsible for their older brother’s death eons ago, which was also declared as a suicide but shows uncanny similarities with that of Han Yoo-Ra in terms of chemicals found in the body as per autopsy reports. He enlists the help of Min-Joon to get his sister-in-law out of the mental hospital and arrange a meeting with her, his older brother, and the prosecutor. Min-Joon and Song-Yi deal with their star-cross lovers’ dilemma differently, with him getting drunk on soju as per lawyer Jang’s prodding and her trying to avoid him even if she really could not. He ends up accidentally causing a Gangnam-wide blackout, while she gives in and agrees to spend the last month he has on Earth meaningfully. After some thinking, though, he tells her at last that he would never ever leave her and that he is here to stay, not admitting the consequences of such action, which could very well include his death.

You Who Came from the Stars: Episode 16

별에서 온 그대: 제16회
As expected, Min-Joon immediately falls ill after stealing another kiss from Song-Yi, who then had to lug him around to get to his car, drive him home, and fall asleep with him in his bed. She asks him whether it was her he kissed or the young Joseon widow. “CHEON SONG-YI,” he answers. Her brother catches her sneaking out of his apartment the next morning. Playing the protective sibling, he invites himself over in an attempt to find out if he is just playing around with his sister, but he is easily won over with a tetra pack of chocolate milk, access to his telescopes, and some high definition photos of Chile’s Atacama Desert. While Song-Yi obsesses with her youth, the inevitable consequence of dating someone who would never age, and preparations for their 100th 1000th day anniversaries, Min-Joon reminds her that, with tears in his eyes, that he would have to leave for good after a month to go back to the star where he originally came from.

Starting Over Again

The love story between Ginny (Toni Gonzaga) and Marco (Piolo Pascual) begins on Valentines 2004 with her one-sided affection for him when he was her professor, leads to an actual relationship prior to her graduation, and eventually culminates with an unexpected breakup left unexplained. A few years later, their paths cross again. She is now an architect trying to make a name for herself. He has shifted careers, now a chef hiring her to remodel his ancestral home into what would be his second restaurant venture. Not having proper closure before, she desperately clings to whatever hope is left for a second chance. He, on the other hand, seems to have moved on with the help of his present girlfriend Patty (Iza Calzado), to whom he plans on proposing in the next few months. Considering their current reality, would rekindling old flames be enough for them to start over again?

You Who Came from the Stars: Episode 15

별에서 온 그대: 제15회
Min-Joon apologizes for his sudden disappearance the day before, and changes his sworn statement off the record telling the prosecutor and the detective that he could teleport and that it is Hwi-Kyeong’s brother who is responsible for Yoo-Ra’s death. He then hands them a USB containing a video recording of the contents of Yoo-Ra’s copy-protected USB. Rumors that Song-Yi is engaged to Hwi-Kyeong leaves him in a delusional state, with him imagining the two lounging around his apartment in married splendor while he tries his best to stay sane. He even goes as far as to shoulder the exorbitant cancellation fee as stipulated on her contract with Hwi-Kyeong’s brother, although this is more of a move to protect her from him. Hwi-Kyeong’s brother tries a different approach by convincing Min-Joon to join forces with him after nonchalantly admitting some of his crimes while in Hwi-Kyeong’s hospital room, not knowing that his brother is just feigning his coma at that point, hearing everything that has been revealed. Se-Mi begs Song-Yi to accept Hwi-Kyeong after conceding defeat, but a confused Song-Yi is still busy dealing with Min-Joon, who has been following her around since she has recovered.

You Who Came from the Stars: Episode 14

별에서 온 그대: 제14회
Min-Joon cannot kill anyone because doing so would also mean his death. This Hwi-Kyeong’s brother knows about because a week before Song-Yi’s leap of death, one of his goons bugged lawyer Jang’s bag which allowed them to monitor his conversations with the extra-terrestrial. This is why despite hovering in mid-air right after being telekinetically hurled by Min-Joon off the top of a very high building, he still has the guts to taunt him and bargain for his life. Min-Joon grants him less than a minute of free fall before cutting what otherwise could have been a gruesome death brought about by gravity. Before all this, Min-Joon confesses his perfect lie to Se-Mi’s brother at the prosecutor’s office, but he and his colleague could not get themselves to believe him, especially right after he bolts out the door and disappears into thin air after hearing about Song-Yi’s unfortunate accident. Her harness snaps, as expected, but Hwi-Kyeong breaks her fall, landing both of them in the emergency room. Song-Yi’s father comes to the rescue to donate the rare blood type he shares with his daughter. Hwi-Kyeong, on the other hand, remains in critical condition.
