Trese: Kabanata/Episode 4

Kabanata 4

Episode 4
PAST: Anton and Alexandra find a dead Ramona, while the twins are taken hostage by Datu Talagbusao. Anton gets stabbed by the God of War, but Alexandra gets to finish the portal that will serve to banish the Datu. PRESENT: 50 cadavers are missing from the cemetery while a massacre unfolds in a squatter’s area, the mastermind for which is believed to be the incarcerated Mayor Sancho Santamaria. Later on, the zombies begin their siege of Captain Guerrero’s police station. Alexandra realizes that someone is in possession of one of three zombie stones, which they have to destroy together in order to put an end to the attack. They eventually find out that it is held by one of the prisoners who harbors a grudge against the police force. Hank (Jon Jon Briones) attempts to learn the truth from Amang Paso, but they are ambushed by a suicide bomber.

Is it just me or is this episode not that exciting? Even then, it feels as though they packed everything towards the end with all the interesting developments because we thought we would finally find the answer regarding the impending threat. If Nuno is fond of Choc Nut, Amang Paso seems to be a fan of drinking. I feel like Amang Paso ang I will also get along well. It’s just saddening that Amang Paso probably won’t be getting another round of salary anymore because it appears he has met his end. And Hank as well. As usual, they give us a cliffhanger once again. The beauty in this is that Hank and Nova Aurora might end up meeting in the afterlife. May the two of them end up together so they can make more tiyanak babies. And you really thought that’s elating. What the hell is wrong with you? If Hank is indeed gone, then that only means he won’t be the one to betray Trese. The only ones left are the twins and Captain Guerrero. In the end, who will really betray her?

“May malaking mangyayari, Hank. Ayoko nang palaging nahuhuli sa balita.” --Alexandra Trese
