Soundtrack of the Week
  1. Prinsesa [6 CYCLE MIND]
  2. My Eyes Adored You [MILBY/GONZAGA]
  3. Love Team [ITCHYWORMS]
  4. Just So You Know [MCCARTNEY]
  5. Wonderful World [MORRISON]
Movie of the Week: The Breakup
  • No, this is not a documentary about the Brad/Jennifer breakup and no, Vince Vaughn is not playing Brad Pitt.

After Eddie Murphy lost Best Supporting Actor for Dreamgirls I was hoping for a Kikuchi/Blanchett upset win over Jennifer Hudson but it didn’t happen. I haven’t seen Dreamgirls yet but I think JHud is overrated. Why does she have to oversing every song she sings? Dreamgirls was nominated for three Oscars in the Original Song category but Inconvenient Truth’s theme song won! This means that at first it might seem that multiple nominations in a category is great but actually not because of vote-splitting. Moral lesson – don’t pray for a multiple nomination in a single category unless you are Catherine Zeta-Jones and the other one is Queen Latifah, hehehe... Pan’s Labyrinth should have won Best Foreign Language Film!

Can’t they just shut up and move on already? E kaso ganun talaga, for ratings sake. Unfortunately the ratings agree – we are indeed a starstruck nation...

Hahaha, siguro kailangan mag ingat.

Tsk tsk.
