Game of Thrones (HBO): Season 7/Episode 4

7.4 The Spoils of War
Bronn returns to assist Jamie in his military campaign. With the loot she amasses from the sack of Highgarden, Cersei pays off their debts to the Iron Bank in one installment. Arya comes back home to Winterfell and reunites with her siblings. She spars with Brienne and manages to disarm her. Jon Snow finds the Dragonglass reserves along with petroglyphs of the first men banding together to fight a common enemy. Daenerys promises to join his fight, if he bends the knee. Dismayed by the failure of Tyrion’s strategy, she takes matters into her own hands. Covering her Dothraki ground forces while saddled on her dragon’s back from high above, they incinerate Jaime’s army. Bronn gets to test King’s Landing’s new weapon on Drogon. As the injured dragon lands and Daenerys attempts to take out the large spear embedded in his throat, Jaime attacks them on his horse and almost gets cremated on the spot, had he not been pushed out of the way in time by Bronn, much to Tyrion’s relief who is watching from afar.

Oh. My. Fucking. God. DRACARYS never sounded so sweet. So this is what everyone has been raving about on Facebook for days now. Well we have to give it to Dragon Mama. She’s always had her way with fire, that arsonist bitch. But whatever, it always gives you the right kind of satisfaction you crave watching this kind of show. It makes everything more exciting, no? With just three episodes left you have to wonder how they can still surprise us at this point. Every episode since the beginning of the season has been an alternate victory for either side, to some extent. Maybe it’s safe to say that they will end this petty game of thrones this season and reserve the final one for the zombie invasion subplot? Aww, REUNION TIME IN WINTERFELL! Melts my heart. All these Stark children left home innocent and cute, now they are all weird and fucked up. That’s life. It can be nasty AF, but it teaches you stuff. A seer, a schemer, and a fighter. Lady Stoneheart would be proud, except that she’s probably not making an appearance on this show.

“Enough with the clever plans. I have three large dragons, I'm going to fly them to the Red Keep.” –Daenerys Targaryen
