How to Get Away with Murder (ABC): Episode 9

9. Kill Me, Kill Me, Kill Me
Annalise throws Sam out of the house and hurtful words are exchanged. She walks out on him and runs to Nate. Wes, Connor, and Laurel rush to the house to find Rebecca. Michaela walks in looking for Annalise to hand over the trophy she stole from Asher, but finds Sam instead. Rebecca then breaks in to hack Sam’s computer. A confrontation ensues, but Wes, Connor, and Laurel arrive in time to mediate. Sam falls off the stairs as Michaela shoves him to protect Laurel. The fall doesn’t kill him. He strangles Rebecca, but Wes hits him in the head with the trophy, killing him. Annalise goes back home to patch things up, but Sam is nowhere to be found. The group dismembers the body, incinerates it, and throws the remains into a dumpster in separate garbage bags. Everyone is called to the office the next day to be interviewed by the police. A final flashback shows Wes going back to the house, telling Sam’s body, “I’m sorry.” A voice tells him that he shouldn’t be. He looks up and sees Annalise on her desk, looking at her husband’s corpse.

ZOMFG THEY ARE ALL INVOLVED!!! ZOMFG!!! Shonda, YOU GENIUS, YOU! Finally, the main event! This episode is too dark, I mean LITERALLY dark, which is just logical because everything happens in the evening. The episode is a recap of every single flashback we’ve been seeing since Episode 1, with bits of new information that will throw every single theory you’ve had out of the window. Don’t fret about it, I thought I had it all figured out too. I mean, Rebecca has been the guilty party all along if based on the incomplete info we know from the flashbacks. But now that everything is coming together, we finally know who are really involved, and it’s awesome like that because they led us to believe that we already knew everything. Apparently not! Oh well, kudos, writers! The good thing is that it does not end here. We watch everyone try to cover their tracks, but will they get away with it? There are six episodes left until the season finale. I guess we have plenty of time to find out. How will they get away with murder?

“Don't be.” –Annalise Keating
