[FLENSBURG] Flensbed Hostel & Boardinghouse

I do not really think of Flensburg as a big tourist destination, unless you are Danish looking for relatively cheaper bargains, in which case you just cross the border and shop away, right? I guess it is for that reason that this hostel becomes the default option for backpackers, because there seems to be no other affordable choice aside from it. In terms of location, you just walk straight down the street once you get off your train at Bundesbahnof. You will find the hostel after around 10 minutes of walking before reaching one of the main roads. Word of caution: if you book them via Agoda, you would have to pay here once you arrive. I did not realize that until the receptionist asked me to do so.

Flensburg is a small town, so location is not really an issue. If you are not that keen on walking, though, then you could always hop on one of the buses. Back to the hostel, the room is comfy and not that cramped, with just two double deck beds sharing the space along with four blue lockers which are of that type that you also find in football locker rooms. There is a small flat screen TV as well as a sink by the door. There is no shortage of bathrooms here, although you have to go out and find them in one of the halls. Overall, I am contented with my stay here. The Wi-Fi is okay too and they reach the rooms!
