This was where I
ended up after my search for a guest house. There were other cheaper
alternatives but this one was the most accessible and conveniently located
right next to the Myeongdong Station underpass. I was lucky enough to be
accommodated despite their being almost fully booked for the week.
The single room is
not that big but I easily got used to it after the first night. I stayed there
for four nights and there were no bad incidents, just the friendly old couple
running the place. The bathroom has hot water, shampoo, soap, toothpaste and
two sets of towels. The room has an aircon as well as a heater. The bed is
single. There is a TV on the desk in front of the bed. Unfortunately the WiFi
does not reach the rooms. You could go down to the lobby to surf the net. You
could connect their laptop to their network via cable or WiFi. There’s also a
desktop in there that you could use for free.

Hi, I'm considering MD guesthouse for my trip and would like to check with you if the wifi is only available in the lobby/1st floor. I saw some old reviews that said wifi was available in the room. Are there any LAN cables provided in the room? Appreciate the help!
@Anonymous - Hi, I don't know about the more expensive rooms, but in the single rooms where I stayed (two of them, 2nd and 3rd floor) the WiFi did not reach the rooms. What I did was connect my laptop to the LAN cable at the lobby every time I wanted to go online.
hi could i ask how much is the room rent?? thx so much,, cause im planning to try this guesthouse,, :)
@Anonymous - 35,000 won according to my records. Single aircon for one night. That's around 1,400 pesos. I don't know if they already increased prices.
